How to Find a Yorkshire Terrier for Sale on Craigslist
A 10-year-old Yorkshire terrier was found wandering the streets of White Marsh, Maryland, on Oct. 16. A Good Samaritan placed an ad for a lost dog on Craigslist, where she was given to a 16-year-old girl who later sold the dog. Detectives determined that the teen was a juvenile. They arrested the teen and seized the stray dog.
The buyer of Dobby had contacted her on Craigslist less than 24 hours after the puppy disappeared, and even tried to make a story about Dobby being a puppy, but she was turned down. After exchanging several notes with the new owner, Holden decided to visit the seller. The new owner paid her $100 and promised to send her a real puppy from Dobby’s future breeding. However, she did not return her calls for comment, and the ad has since been removed.
A dog rescuer in Houston discovered Sushi on Craigslist.
Lowe posed as a potential buyer and met with the seller in the middle of the night. She brought along a microchip reader with her, along with another animal rescuer friend, Kathy Vasquez. When the seller agreed to the sale, Sushi appeared to be completely uninterested in meeting the stranger. The sale went through for $250, and the family reunited with their new puppy. While Sushi didn’t know her new owner, the lowes fostered two other dogs and were able to adopt them.
If you’re looking for a Yorkie, you can try finding one on Craigslist. The Animal Rescue Fund is an organization that works with volunteers throughout the United States. With no paid staff, they rely on the generosity of the public. All of their dogs have been neutered, heartworm checked and up-to-date on their vaccinations. And they are all rescued by a nonprofit, which means they’re free to join the rescue.
