Soft-Coated Wheaten Terriers are headstrong, sensitive, and spunky, so they are not suitable pets for very young children. However, they can be fun for teenagers. Both of these organizations accept owner surrenders, but they require that you fill out an application, complete a vet reference check, and provide veterinary records and personal references.
