Toby Terrier and His Video Pals
Toby Terrier and his Video Pals is a direct-to-video show from the 1990s. It follows the adventures of a pack of dogs in show business. They own a TV station called WOOF and broadcast their adventures on television. The gimmick of the show was a toy that sounded like Toby and could speak along with the video. Ultimately, ten episodes were produced.
The Toby Terrier and His Video Pals videos are interactive and feature the stuffed dog making comments and jokes throughout the show. I remember watching these videos on VHS when I was a kid. The videos were pretty cool and kept me occupied for hours! They are still popular today! But if you’re looking for a fun way to spend your time while learning, this may be just the thing.
Fortunately, Toby and his video pals were saved and returned to his owner. A local boy found Toby in a field in Kent, and the Marsh family thanked all who helped find him. Toby had escaped from his owner’s home when he went out to fetch something. Fortunately, Toby was picked up by a boy just a few minutes later. The boy then went door-to-door in search of the dog’s owner.
