If you’re interested in getting a Boston Terrier, you’ve probably wondered where you can find the best breeders.
With the help of the Boston Terrier Club of Victoria, you’ll find a breeder in your area that’s both reputable and friendly.
These dogs are generally small, so they’re adaptable to both children and older people, and they don’t cause an unnecessary fuss.
Bathing and grooming are relatively simple, but basic training may require a bit more time and patience.
Boston Terrier Club of Victoria
Boston Terrier breeders first started showing their dogs in the 1870s in Boston, Massachusetts.
It was Mr. RC Hooper who first showed the breed, who bred it from a bulldog-type female named Gyp. The judge was a mix between a White English Terrier and an English Bulldog.
The resultant breed leaned more toward the Bulldog type and was eventually referred to as the Round Heads or the American Bull Terriers.
Meet Rose Camilla, an expert in the Terrier dog breed and an active writer and publisher. Camilla has been working with Terriers for over 12 years and her passion for them has only grown stronger with time. She has dedicated her life to understanding, training, and writing about Terriers.
